Visiting Seven Deities of Good Fortune in Musashino Area
- It has been reported that the weather throughout Japan during the year-end and New Year holidays
would be nasty. The heavy snow would fall except Kanto District.
 - I had been back to Okayama at the end of every year since I came to Tokyo. However, I do not need to
back to Okayama anymore. Therefore, this is my first New Year in Tokyo.
 - I tried to join the New Year marathon race. However, I could not find out good race and gave up.
 - I found a brochure "2011 New Year Stamp Rally via Seibu & Keio Lines:
Visiting Seven Deities of Good Fortune" at the station.
 - There are seven rally courses. I decided to visit Seven Deities of Good Fortune in Musashino Area
by jogging.
 - I left home at 8:00 AM with Daypack. It was sunny and cold.
 - I headed Kichijouji Street via Ohme Highroad.
 - On the way, I saw a lot of worshippers visiting Higashi-fushimi Inari Shrine.
 - It took time to reach Kichijoji Street than I expected. Anyway, I continued to run
to arrive in Kichijoji Station.
 - I stopped short of the station since I found
Musashino Hachiman Shrine, where Daikoku-ten, one of seven deities, was enshrined.
I found a lot of worshippers made a long line to worship. I gave up to worship and
started to run again to Inokashira Park.
 - On reaching Inokashira Park, I went to Inokashira Benzaiten (Sarasvati)
to worship. The shrine was not so crowded.
 - I ran through the park to Inokashira Park Station to get stamp on the broshure.
 - The I return to Kichijoji Station and headed Anyoji Temple to see Pu-tai.
The temple was next to Musashino Hachiman Shrine. Next visit was Daihouzenji Temple,
where Fukurokuju was enshirined. It was almost 500 m away from Anyoji Temple
 - Then I ran alongside Itsukaichi Highroad westward to Enmeiji Temple,
where both Bishamonten and Juroujin existed. I was served hot amazake, a sweet beverage made from fermented rice.
I could warm up my body.
 - Finally I arrived in JR Musashisakai Station via Green Park Walkway and
Monmura park.
 - I visited Kizukitaisha Shrine, where Ebisu is enshrined. very close to the station.
However, I was surprised to find that a lot of people made a long line in the precinct.
The line was more than 100 m! I gave up to visit the main shrine.
 - I started to go back home via Musashisakai Street.
 - On the way, I felt exhausted and hungry. I dropped in Origin Bento Shop and bought rice balls.
 - I managed to get home at 12:45.
